Encouraged by the success of last year, this year we have organized for the second time in Odorheiu Secuiesc our Caritas Town, the location of which was the Bethlen quarter park of the town.
The children could try their abilities on different obstacle fields, they could participate at different dexterity games (card games, memory enhancing games, sliding of soap, paralimpia, throwing into targets etc.) and they could test their knowledge of biology as well. If they passed these tests with success, they could gather „paws”. The symbolic money called „paw” could be used at one of the stands for this purpose, so in exchange they could watch movies, send letters, could exchange things, but there were also face-painting, cooking, hair-weaving activities. At the photo corner they could be photographed and have the photos in hand in just a few minutes.
With regard to parents we opened the Caritas coffee-pub, where they could ask questions from local doctors, psychologists, lawyers at a cup of coffee.
At the end of the event we said goodbye with muffins.
As a conclusion we can say, that we the volunteers, but even the organizers and the participants had a good time, and we had a successful Caritas Town.
May we meet again the next year!
